Welcome to Promise686, a community dedicated to the mission of caring for vulnerable children and supporting families in crisis. Inspired by Psalm 68:6, "God sets the lonely in families," we are committed to mobilizing churches and communities to transform the lives of children in need.
Our Vision
Every child deserves a loving, stable family. At Promise686, we strive to make this a reality by:
- Raising awareness about the needs of vulnerable children.
- Supporting biological families to prevent the need for foster care.
- Recruiting and nurturing foster and adoptive families.
- Providing essential care and resources for children and families.

In the U.S. alone, there are over 420,000 children in foster care
122,000 of these children are awaiting adoption
In Georgia, there were over 12,000 children in foster care in 2023
There are currently 1,700 children in Georgia awaiting adoption
