"Now" is my favorite word. It's not just a demand or a command to my kids.  It's a summary of how I see God moving in the midst of the American child welfare system.  He is on the move, right now. I'm marveling at what's unfolding and I want to celebrate it with you.

For three years now, Promise686 has exported the best of our work in developing Family Advocacy Ministries (FAMs) in Georgia to other states.  As we go deep locally, we share what you've invested in very widely, so that through 22 non-profit affiliates, churches will be equipped and children's lives will be transformed, now.

So come join our party, host a table, and grow our crowd with new faces and familiar ones.  Laugh and smile in the safety and pleasure of a community of people who have a shared vision–to set the lonely in families.

Meet David McNeely, the 2019 Made for Home Keynote Speaker:
David was instrumental in the launch of Promise686 casting the vision to the first of Promise's 300+ church partners, Perimeter Church.  He is now the senior pastor at Wildwood Presbyterian Church in Tallahassee, FL. His heart for youth shows through 20 years of youth ministry across Alabama, Georgia, and North Carolina.  He also spent five years serving as a young families pastor at Perimeter Church in Johns Creek. David and his wife Judith have six children and have adopted both from the U.S. and Ethiopia. We can't think of a better leader to help us celebrate ten years of ministry at Promise686.

Meet Ty Bryant, the 2019 Made for Home Emcee:

Ty is the Vice President of Promise686 and joined our staff in March 2014. For the previous 15 years, Ty served as a staff pastor in Children’s Ministry at Perimeter Church, Johns Creek, GA. Ty has a Bachelor of Arts in History and Secondary Education from Lenoir-Rhyne University, a Master of Arts in Spiritual Formation from Wheaton College (IL), and a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University. Ty was himself adopted as an infant; thus, the call to raise up loving homes for vulnerable children is personal to him. Ty and his wife, Kristen, are parents of six children, including a sibling group of three from foster care who are finally and fully adopted!

2018

It was a powerful evening, October 20th (2018), as Jason Weber, National Director of Foster Care Initiatives for the Christian Alliance for Orphans, laid out the call to place vulnerable children in families. The evening included highlights of our work in 2018 through the stories and people caring for children. Sugo/Iberian Pig catered a delicious dinner, and Garrett Moore provided live music for our pre-dinner reception and a Silent Auction that provided exciting opportunities for everyone to be generous! Through this generosity, $250,000 was raised.

2017

Thank you - it was amazing! Thanks for joining Promise686 at SunTrust Park on October 21st, 2017 for our annual gathering to give. You generously gave over $185,000 for the sole purpose of "bringing them home!" Enjoy photos of our evening below and please check back as plans unfold for the 2018 benefit!

"Bring Them Home" was held in exclusive, terrace-level party suites overlooking the Atlanta Braves baseball field. We shared stories of what God is doing through Promise686 and celebrated His promise and our opportunity to be part of “setting the lonely in families” – Psalm 68:6.

2016

If you attended "Destination Home" - the Promise Concert at Ascension Air - we hope you came away energized! Your gifts of hospitality and generosity allowed us to continue addressing great needs in foster care and adoption. The evening featured the versatility of featured artist, Kurt Scobie, and we were challenged by Andy Cook, Promise686 President, and Virginia Pryor, Deputy Division Director of Child Welfare, to consider children journeying alone, and charged to continue on in the calling to "live the promise."
