Promise686 is a nonprofit organization helping vulnerable children find safe, loving, and forever families.

Our Vision
To ensure every child grows up in a safe, loving family
Our Mission
To fulfill God's promise “to set the lonely in families” (Psalm 68:6)
We believe the Church is called to care for vulnerable children.
Since Promise686 was founded in 2009, we’ve been chasing one ambitious vision: ending the child welfare crisis. Thanks to the help of our generous partners and supporters, we’re making serious progress.
Using an evidence-based approach and leveraging the latest innovations and technology, we're equipping the Church to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families in their local communities.

An academic study has confirmed that the Promise686 model leads to greater placement stability for children in foster care. Published in the Journal of Public Child Welfare (June 30, 2024), the study highlights this key finding:
"Greater placement stability is an important metric for child welfare systems, and the Promise686 program results in Georgia's youth having significantly fewer placements during their time in foster care."
This validation reinforces the effectiveness of our approach and strengthens our commitment to creating lasting, stable homes for vulnerable children.
