Andy Cook
CEO & President
Andy began his leadership of Promise in 2013 after serving as a founding board member for five years. In his time at Promise, Andy has encouraged sacrificial collaboration and the development of tech-infused family support services. Before coming to Promise, Andy taught and served in various leadership roles at a K-12 independent Christian school. Andy has a B.A. in English from Washington and Lee University and a M.A. in Religion from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, with a concentration in Ethics. He and his wife, Martha, live in metro-Atlanta. They have ten children and have adopted both domestically and internationally.

Ty Bryant
VP of Engagement
Ty joined Promise in March 2014, bringing with him a background in pastoral ministry and a deep personal connection to the mission, having been adopted as a baby. Previously, he served as a Children's Ministry Pastor. He holds a B.A. in History and Secondary Education from Lenoir-Rhyne University, an M.A. in Spiritual Formation from Wheaton College, and an M.S. in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University. Ty and his wife, Kristen, are parents to seven children, including a sibling group of four adopted from foster care.

Johnna Stein
VP of Creative Resources
Johnna joined Promise686 in 2012 and currently serves as VP of Creative Resources. She is a TBRI Practitioner and Mentor, an award-winning author, and was nominated as the 2024 GA Author of the Year. Her debut novel, Untangling Hope (for kids 9-13), won the Christopher Award. After her two children went to college, she and her husband became foster parents, caring for more than 30 bonus children. Johnna enjoys coffee, boxers, underdogs, reading, and creating games, and she loves helping churches find their place in the child welfare continuum.

Jeremy Doublestein
VP of Software Development
Jeremy began volunteering with Promise686 in 2016 as a church advocate. He put his web development experience to work by building an application in 2017 to keep the volunteers at his multi-campus church organized. Over the next year, this grew into what is now Promise Serves and the FAM Teams app. Jeremy contracted with Promise to build the functionality of Promise Serves to accommodate the needs of our affiliate partners until January 2020, when he joined the team full time. When Jeremy isn’t behind the computer, he is farming with his wife, Suzanne, and their four adopted children on a homestead outside of Atlanta.

Adam Parker
CFO & VP of Administration
Adam joined Promise686 in 2023, following a clear call to mission-driven, eternally purposeful work that blends his experience in finance and operations with a passion for strong families. Prior to Promise, he worked in commercial banking, small business finance, and marketing. Adam brings a strategic and relational approach to his role, shaped by years in the private sector. He and his wife, Carrie, live with their seven children. In his free time, Adam can often be found with a strong cup of coffee and a good book.

Connor McCauley
VP of Implementation
Connor joined the Promise686 team in January of 2021. Before coming to Promise, he spent his professional career working at Chick-fil-A restaurants in Chicago. Connor is passionate about seeing the body of Christ respond to the complex needs of vulnerable children and families with the hope of the gospel. He and his wife, Sarah, live in Duluth, Georgia, with their two daughters.

Pam Anderson
Promise Services Training Coordinator
Pam joined the Promise686 software team in 2020, after spending 12 years in software training before stepping away to raise her family. At Promise, she enjoys helping people put technology to work in their lives, combining her heart for service with her technical expertise. Pam holds a B.A. in Psychology and Political Science from Eastern Kentucky University. She and her husband, Eric, have two sons, a daughter, and a granddaughter, and split their time between Norcross, Georgia, and Lake Oconee.

Jessica Belden
Logistics Specialist
Jessica serves at Promise686 as a Logistics Specialist. Before coming to Promise, she served in local churches by offering foster and adoptive parent coaching and training. Jessica and her husband have three children—two through adoption and one biological—who all came to them by the grace of God. She has a servant's heart and loves to lift others up and offer support where needed.

Karen Henderson
Director of Communications
Karen’s journey with Promise686 began in 2010, when her family experienced the powerful impact of people wrapping around them with care, encouragement, and prayer through the Safe Families program. Karen’s professional history includes work in education (in administration and as a teacher) and also interior design. She holds a B.A. in Public Relations from the University of Georgia and a certificate in Early Childhood Education from Oglethorpe University. Karen and her husband live in Berkeley Lake, where they enjoy spending time with their three adult children, one son-in-law, and one grandchild.

Whitney Li
Curriculum Director
Whitney serves as Curriculum Director at Promise686. Whitney holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Kennesaw State University and a Certificate in Christian Studies for Young Leaders from Metro Atlanta Seminary. She completed a two-year residency at Perimeter Church in both Worship and Creative Resources. Whitney’s passion is to provide the body of Christ with enriching resources to equip them to meet the needs of vulnerable children in their communities. She and her husband live in the Atlanta area.

Stephanie McDaniel
FAM Coach
Stephanie joined the Promise686 staff in June 2023 as a FAM Coach. Before coming to Promise686, Stephanie was a teaching assistant at Wesleyan School and has experience as a caseworker with DFCS in Bibb County, along with missions and event planning. In her time at Promise, Stephanie has focused on encouraging and equipping churches to support vulnerable families and children in need of community. She holds a B.S. in Family and Consumer Sciences from Georgia Southern University. Stephanie and her husband, Chad, live in Peachtree Corners, Georgia, with their three children.

Kelly Parker
Director of Network Partnerships
Kelly joined the Promise686 team in May 2023, bringing experience from both church-based ministries and nonprofit organizations serving youth in underserved areas. Before coming to Promise, she worked in sales and commercial services management with Otis Elevator Company in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Atlanta. Kelly holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice and an M.A. in Theology from Talbot School of Theology (BIOLA University). She and her husband, Joseph, a family pastor at a local church, have two teenage sons adopted from foster care.

Director of Donor Engagement
Kelly joined the Promise686 team in 2022. Before coming to Promise686, she worked with companies and nonprofits in Atlanta, focusing on leadership support, fundraising, and event/team management. Kelly holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration. She and her husband, Jeff, live in Peachtree Corners with their son Andrew, a proud Georgia Bulldog!

April Rodell
Grants Manager
April has served in various roles at Promise686 and currently leads as Grants Manager. She brings a diverse professional background that includes work as a tour guide, camp director, lobbyist, and corporate event planner. April earned a B.S. in Communications from Georgia Southern University and also studied Political Science at American University. She actively volunteers with ministries at her church, supports her children’s school, and serves as a radKIDS instructor. April and her husband, Jon, are raising three strapping sons who are fast approaching adulthood.

Cami Skop
Design & Communications Specialist
Cami began as an intern at Promise686 in 2023 and continued serving as our graphic designer during the remainder of her college education. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Art from Georgia College and State University, and upon graduation, she transferred onto full time staff as our Design and Communications Specialist.

Cameron Washington
Georgia State Director
Cameron serves Promise686 as our Georgia State Director. He has a B.S. in Psychology from Georgia Southern University and a Master of Divinity from Metro Atlanta Seminary. He has a passion for the church to engage in the mission of God and experience the joy of seeing His kingdom on earth. Currently, Cameron lives in Decatur with his wife, Kiley, a daughter, and twin boys.

Jessi Williams
Director of Coaching Services
Jessi joined the Promise686 staff in 2021. She holds a master’s degree in Social Work and a B.S. in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Georgia. Jessi has experience in foster care and private adoption and is a TBRI Practitioner. She is passionate about equipping churches to care well for vulnerable children and families in the community. Jessi lives in Watkinsville, Georgia, with her dog, Ruthie, and enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Joan Brewer
Executive Administrative Assistant
Joan serves as Executive Administrative Assistant at Promise686. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Furman University and has worked at private Christian schools as a teacher and admissions director. She is passionate about children learning, being loved, and finding faith in Jesus. Joan and her husband, Brian, live in Lawrenceville and have two adult daughters and a son.

Robby Robertson
Area Director
Robby joined the Promise686 team in 2023 as an area director for Montana. Before coming to Promise, he pastored for over 25 years in the local church. Robby is also a foster ministry chaplain in Montana and currently runs the fatherhood program at a local pregnancy center. He and his wife, Autumn, have seven children and four grandchildren.

Rosalyn Bigback
Montana Native Outreach Director
Rosalyn Bigback, a member of the Northern Cheyenne Nation, serves as the Montana Native Outreach Director for Promise686. She leads efforts to equip Native American churches on reservations to support vulnerable children through foster care, adoption, and wraparound care. With a background in addiction counseling and community-based case management, Rosalyn offers culturally informed care rooted in both clinical training and spiritual understanding. She holds a license in addiction counseling and is pursuing her Master’s in Social Work. Rosalyn lives in Montana with her three sons and enjoys cheering them on from the sidelines of their sports games.

Allison Williams
Fam Coach
Allison joined Promise686 after serving as an advocate at her church congregation for five years. Her previous professional experience includes collegiate-level teaching, medical interpretation, and home study work at a private agency. Allison holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice and a B.A. in Spanish. She is married and has four children, two of whom joined their family through adoption and two who are biological.

Heather Vande Sandt
Eastern Montana Area Director
Heather joined the Promise686 team in 2023 after working in ministry and various professional roles, including retail management and as a meeting coordinator for the Montana State Legislature. She and her husband have served in ministry since 2007, including 14 years as children’s pastors. Motivated by the needs they witnessed, Heather is passionate about equipping others to support vulnerable children and families. She and her husband live in Montana with their three children and enjoy adventuring together through music, art, and the outdoors.

Director of Clinic Coordination
Catie joined the Promise686 staff in 2015 and serves as the Director of Clinic Coordination. Before coming to Promise, she worked in foster care and domestic infant adoption. Catie holds a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia and a B.A. in Religion from Birmingham-Southern College. She and her husband, Brandon, live in Savannah, Georgia, with their three children.

Aaron Scofield
Montana Director
Aaron joined Promise686 in December 2020. He graduated with a Master of Divinity from the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary and served as a pastor before transitioning into foster care ministry. For the past five years, Aaron has been actively recruiting and supporting foster families. He and his wife live in Northwest Montana with their two sons, where he leads Promise686 Montana to mobilize churches across the state. Their family stays busy with ministry and enjoying the beauty of God's creation in the mountains.

Melisa Page-Balie
NYC Area Director
Melisa Page-Bailie joined Promise686 in 2023 as the New York Metro Area Director. With over 30 years of experience in foster care, adoption, and faith-based family support, she has fostered more than 200 children and adopted 10. She previously served as President of the Florida Foster/Adoptive Parent Association and trained prospective foster and adoptive parents. Melisa holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Social Welfare from the University of North Florida. In her role at Promise, she empowers churches to serve at-risk families through wraparound care and community engagement. A mother of 11 adult children, grandmother of nine, and great-grandmother of two, Melisa is passionate about strengthening families and transforming communities through faith-driven service.

Bryson Moon
FAM Coach
Bryson joined Promise686 in 2023. Before coming to Promise, he served in pastoral ministry for 15 years, focusing on helping local churches serve the most vulnerable in their communities. He currently serves as a lay pastor at Unity Worship Center. Bryson holds a bachelor's degree in Religion from Liberty University. He and his wife, Princess, live in Burlington, North Carolina, with their three children. Bryson is passionate about helping churches engage their communities and create a lasting impact for the kingdom of God.

Tiffany Lawler
Montana Resource Specialist
Tiffany joined Promise686 in 2024. She holds an Associate of Arts in Ministry from The Salvation Army Crestmont College and a Bachelor of Arts in Counseling for Christian Ministries from Nazarene Bible College. With over 30 years of experience in ministry, she has served as a youth pastor, associate pastor, lead pastor, and Christian school principal. Tiffany is also a Certified Master Trainer for the “Raising Highly Capable Kids” parenting curriculum. Passionate about serving families and children, she and her husband, Rob, live in Helena, Montana, with their three adult children and one son-in-law. Tiffany enjoys traveling, being artistic, and reading.

Shiloh Hubbard
FAM Specialist Montana
Shiloh joined Promise686 in June 2024. She has a B.A. in History and has worked in child trauma care, with a passion for reunification and helping others heal from trauma. As a FAM Coach, Shiloh loves connecting vulnerable children and their families with churches in their communities, enabling churches to be more effective in being the hands and feet of Jesus. She is a foster and adoptive mother and lives in eastern Montana with her husband of 17 years and their four wonderful children.

Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer
Patrick brings a passion for using technology at Promise686 to improve the lives of vulnerable children. Before joining the team, he served with multiple nonprofits focused on child welfare and was a featured speaker at the CAFO Summit. Patrick previously led as a technology executive at various startups and tech companies, blending innovation with mission-driven work. He and his wife, Lauren, live on a small farm in Maysville, Georgia, with their five daughters.

Jamie Campbell
FAM Specialist
Jamie began serving with Promise686 in 2022 after more than four decades of involvement in foster care. She has served as a foster parent recruiter, trainer, and Executive Director of CASA for Kids of Flathead and Lincoln County, following two years as a volunteer. Earlier in life, Jamie became a foster parent, adopted two children from foster care, and became a guardian to another. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Paralegal Studies. She and her husband live in Montana and have six grown children (plus their spouses), 18 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
The Promise686 Board
Tim Rider | Chairman, Board of Directors – Tim and his wife, Amy, founded Promise686 in 2009 and led the ministry through its formation before turning it over to Andy in 2013. Tim is Executive Chairman of SeaTec Consulting Inc., a leading provider of consulting, engineering and digital solutions to the aerospace and defense industry. He also serves an operating partner and board member for a private equity group, Banbury Private Capital. Tim has also held various leadership roles in both startups and public corporations. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Master of Business Administration from Emory University. Tim and Amy have two sons and one daughter who was adopted from Kyrgyzstan.

Keith Style | Vice-Chair – Keith, current Principal of The Presidio Group, brings his extensive background in finance and accounting to Promise686 where he serves as Vice-Chair. Keith has many years of experience in the boating (OneWater Holdings, LLC) and automotive (Asbury Automotive Group, Inc.) industries. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business from Lafayette College. Keith and his wife, Jen, live in Alpharetta, Georgia, with their three children, one adopted from Ethiopia.
Patrick Moody | Secretary, Board of Directors – Patrick is a Commercial Banking Leader at Wells Fargo. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina and a Master of Business Administration from Auburn University. He serves on the Finance Committee of Promise686. He is also a board member with the Commercial Finance Association, an elder at Perimeter Church, and volunteers his time with CURE Childhood Cancer. Patrick and his wife, Tiffany, have five children, including two who are adopted – a son from Ethiopia, and most recently a daughter from China.
Jim Allen | Member, Board of Directors – Jim is the Senior Vice President of Corporate and Premium Partnerships for the Atlanta Braves. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno. He also sits on the Board of Governors for the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and is on the board of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Sports Network. Jim and his wife, Molly, live in Marietta, Georgia, with their three daughters, Savannah, Emily, and Ella Jia Li who was adopted from China.
Matthew Cathy | Member, Board of Directors – Matthew joined the Promise686 Board in 2023. His professional career spans roles at Chick-fil-A and now as a leader and owner of Clayton Fixture Co., a provider of commercial fixtures and furniture to companies around the U.S. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Hult International Business School. Through his role on the Board at Winshape Foster Care, Matthew has developed a passion for children in the foster care system and a drive to provide them safe and stable homes. Matthew also helped launch the National Hospitality Week campaign where we honor and encourage social workers. Matthew is eager to take these experiences and represent the next generation of leaders while serving on the Board.
Léonce Crump | Member, Board of Directors – Léonce Crump Jr., is an author, international speaker, and the founder and senior pastor of Renovation Church in Atlanta. He holds graduate degrees from the University of Tennessee and Resurgence Theological Training Center. Léonce is currently a Master of Divinity student at Reformed Theological Seminary and a member of the Acts 29 church planting network. Prior to his nine years in ordained ministry, Léonce was an All-American wrestler and defensive end for the Sooner football team at the University of Oklahoma, and went on to play professional football for the New Orleans Saints. He and his wife, Breanna, reside in the Eastside of Atlanta with their three daughters and son.
Brett Lane | Member, Board of Directors – Under Brett’s leadership, Encore Advisors came to life in 2007 with the intent of creating a boutique benefits firm that would serve as far more than an insurance brokerage. Encore continues to experience steady growth through purposeful, deep-rooted relationships around Atlanta. Brett graduated from UGA in 2003 and began his career in Florida. 13 years ago, Brett moved his family back home where he, his wife, Nicole, and their three daughters are highly invested in the Johns Creek, Georgia, community. Brett and his family have whole-heartedly served Promise686 since its inception.
Jody McNatt | Member, Board of Directors – Jody and her husband, Rick, have been involved with Promise686 since its beginning when they started the adoption of their 5th child in 2009. Though new to the board, Jody has volunteered at Promise686 since 2014 chairing several of the fall fundraising events. Passionate about adoption, she enjoys both writing and speaking on this topic near to her heart. Jody also volunteers weekly at Beacon of Hope in Atlanta as a patient care advocate for women in crisis pregnancies. After graduating from Grove City College with her B.A. in Communications, English Literature and Secondary Education, Jody taught high school English for many years. Jody and Rick have five children, their youngest daughter adopted from China in 2010.
Callie Murray | Member, Board of Directors – Callie has been involved in multiple Promise686 care communities, giving her a deep belief in Promise’s wrap-around model of care. She is the co-founder of Same Page HR as well as a historical fiction author. Her upcoming novel highlights a community’s support of vulnerable children, and all proceeds have been committed to local foster and adoptive families. Callie, her husband David, and their three daughters live in Norcross, Georgia, where they are probably hosting a potluck right now.
